  • CENTENARY LODGE 23A Coleman Street Singapore 179806 (map)

The Centenary Lodge, a Masonic Lodge in Singapore, will be holding a charity event at the Freemasons Hall on Saturday, 24 November 2018.

The one-day event is open to the public and will feature exclusive guided tours of the building, alongside a Christmas Night Market held by The Local People. Proceeds from the tours and sales from the booking of vendor booths for the fair will be donated to the Kidz Horizon Appeal, a Singapore registered charity organization, which benefits children and women with chronic illnesses.

This is the first time an event of this scale is being held on the grounds of the historic 139-year-old Freemasons Hall building at 23A Coleman Street, as generally only Freemasons are permitted within the building.

Now, non-Masons will have a unique opportunity to get a peek behind closed doors, with 2 guided tours available on the 24th of November, at 5pm and 7pm. Tour tickets are priced at $100 each, and come with a complimentary tote bag containing Freemason memorabilia worth $55.

The one-hour tour will take attendees through the building as they learn about Freemasonry – including its history, symbolisms, and a rare opportunity to hear an explanation of a Masonic Ritual. Outside the building, the Christmas Market Fair will be free for the public to visit from 5pm till late.

Founder and CEO of Kidz Horizon Appeal, Dr. Caroline Low-Heah, said: “I’m extremely supportive and appreciative of the work, and for having our charity nominated for this event.”
