The Local People owns the official trademark - Art Market™ in Singapore.
Project Anew aims to intertwine the act of giving with fashion. A team founded and led by youths aged 21 and below, we aim to introduce and create interest among fellow youths on topics such as Philanthropy and Sustainability. By creating content that appeals to youths and collaborating with industry partners, we host biannual events where we aim to raise funds for selected beneficiaries. Established this year in 2022, we were motivated by the support given to our first drive and are back to bring a bigger and bolder installment to raise funds for charity.
This joint collaboration hopes to gather and inspire Singaporeans to give back to the community amid the National Day holidays and hone the kampung spirit. Held from 9-14 August alongside TLP and Lithium at 18 Genting Road, a wider selection of pre-loved clothing kindly donated by our collaborators (and the public) will be on sale. Through our second drive, we hope to bridge the gap between the importance of supporting fellow Singaporeans and responsible buying.

Note:
To qualify for the free Art (Student / Young Entrepreneur) Booths you are required to be either:
21 or under
Or are a student
You will be required to show your ID / Student Pass at the event when prompted!
If you cannot make it to the event after registering for a booth, do hand your booth over to a friend and drop me an email at pingoh@thelocalpeoplesg.com with their contact details. Thank you!
Please read all guidelines before purchasing a booth:
Please include your Instagram handle in your billing address name - E.g @thelocalpeoplesg
Both indoor and outdoor (non-sheltered) booths are available
All booths are non-refundable
Only Singaporean made or designed Items are permitted for sale
Please keep your area clean and dispose your rubbish in the allocated bins
You are agreeing to The Local People's terms and conditions when purchasing a booth
Rain Or Shine Event
Booth locations are on a first come first serve basis
ONE POWER PLUG IS TO ONE APPLIANCE ONLY, Power Plugs are limited
By buying a booth you are also allowing The Local People to use one Instagram or Facebook photo from your account to promote your items on @thelocalpeoplesg and www.facebook.com/TheLocalPeopleSG
Outdoor booths:
Please bring along battery operated lights to illuminate your booths
Bringing along your own tents/umbrellas/any type of outdoor shelter is allowed
Art Booths:
Art booths are booths for vendors selling artwork such as painting, canvas pieces, prints and installations
One 3ft by 3ft Table and 2 Chairs
1 brand to one booth, no sharing of booths allowed
Retail Booths:
Example of retail booths are: jewellery, crafts, leather goods and other physically inedible objects

Food Booths:
1 brand to one booth, no sharing of booths allowed

Cooking on site is allowed
Do note there is to be no open fire cooking on site
